Owning a life size realistic sex doll certainly has its benefits. The excitement of doll ownership does come with certain responsibilities though. In order to protect your investment and get the longest life out of your new girl there are some routine health care steps that are necessary to follow. Perhaps the most important routine is keeping your girls skin clean and smooth. Powdering, washing and oil massaging are procedures that will insure her skin remains healthy. In this article I discuss powdering and washing.
TPE and silicone in their unprepared state are materials which are tacky to the touch and easily attract dust and dirt. In order to prevent this using powder to coat TPE or silicone is required. The powder is brushed onto the surface of the doll and eliminates that tackiness and prevents dust, lint and hair from sticking to her body surface. The most popular powders are baby powder or corn starch. Both work well and is really a matter of personal preference. How often you powder down your doll depends on a variety of factors, your best indication it's time to apply a fresh coat of powder is when you find your hand/skin doesn't glide over her body smoothly. For a more detailed explanation I have created a video which explains the powdering process along with other helpful hints.Showering or bathing your girl will also keep her skin healthy. This is a more detailed process but can be a fun time you share together.
The instructions you receive with your doll should explain the bathing process. If not, the process is exactly as you would imagine. Determine whether you'll do a bath or shower, both have their different challenges. It is best to have your girl sitting whether on the bottom of the tub or a raised seat, keep in mind her weight when deciding on an option, a heavy doll is difficult to lift out of a bathtub if she's siting on the bottom of the tub and can be risky.. Use a mild soap such as a liquid bath soap or even hand soap. Always use your hands when washing her body not a washcloth, make sure your hands are smooth and your nails are not sharp so you don't damage her skin while washing, Here a few other things to keep in mind:
1. Carefully examine your girls body for any splits that may allow water to leak into the skeletal area. Common areas for splits are under arms, elbows and feet. Make sure damaged areas are repaired before exposing to water.
2. It's best to remove your dolls head for this process and wash it separately. Cover the neck opening with plastic wrap or a plastic bag with a rubber band to secure the plastic.
3. Place a towel on the bottom of the tub or shower. Most bathtubs have slip resistant bottoms which may damage the TPE or Silicone. A towel will keep her from coming in direct contact with the surface of the tub/shower.
4. Some seat options you can use might be a traditional shower seat, camping toilet or even five gallon bucket; make sure you use padding with the bucket for her to sit on such as a folded towel and be sure the bucket is not wobbly.
5. Once you have her set rinse her off with plain water first.
6. Soap up your hands and wash her entire body, then rinse thoroughly.
7. Dry her off as much as possible in the tub so she isn't slippery when you remove her.
8. Make sure she is completely dry before powdering.
Many new doll owners are surprised to discover there is some maintenance for doll care. It may seem tedious but use your imagination and make it a fun, erotic experience, you'll soon find that you look forward to the bath and powder time.
